Today’s Apple deals are once again kicking off with some notable price drops on the latest M4 Mac mini – the base model is back down at $495, the 24GB M4 model has hit its best price to date, and the 24GB M4 Pro Mac mini is now at its best Amazon price ever at $1,196. Next we move over to the M4 MacBook Pro – the most affordable model has now dropped to a new Amazon all-time low at $251 off while elevated models are now $340 off – alongside Apple Watch Series 10 at up to $160 off and the best price of the year on the black Apple Watch Ultra 2 at $720. Apple’s 24GB M4 Mac mini hits Amazon low pricing at $872 (Reg. $999), M4 Pro best price ever, more from $495

Update: Amazon has now dropped the M4 Pro Mac mini 24GB/512GB down to a new all-time low at $1,196.31 – this is nearly $4 under the previous best price we have ever tracked at Amazon (Reg. $1,299). The base model Mac mini has also dropped back down to $494.92 shipped.

While the sub $499 deal price on the entry-level 16GB/256GB M4 Mac mini has now jumped up a few bucks, today Amazon is bringing back its extremely short-lived best price ever on the upgraded model with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD. Regularly $999, you can now score this M4 Mac mini configuration down at $872.05 shipped.

For many folks, and understandably so, the main selling point on the M4 Mac mini is the price – you can score a brand-new, current-generation Mac for $599, and often times less than that ($506 right now on Amazon). It delivers some serious value when it comes to setting up an at-home Mac workstation, but for some the entry-level specs just don’t cut it, and that’s where today’s deal comes in.

Wherever you sit on the spec spectrum, I think we can all agree that Apple upping its base models to 16GB of RAM was long overdue and welcomed. It also means the pricing on upgraded models are effectively lower.

For me 16GB of RAM is generally enough, but I am more regularly starting to looking towards the 24GB setups. The 256GB of storage is starting to feel woefully underwhelming though – even though you can just stick a portable SSD into the mix, so the 24GB/512GB M4 Mac mini config is an enticing one. It is still a few hundreds bucks less than the M4 Pro Mac mini and now approaching the price of the most affordable M4 MacBook Air – not really a great comparison there considering this is not a laptop, but we are looking at the more affordable end of the current Mac lineup here.

Here’s how the pricing shakes out across the M4 Mac mini lineup today – things have been fluctuating daily this week, but the two most powerful models in the list below have now dropped down even lower:

Amazon all-time lows hit the M4 MacBook Pro: Most affordable 16GB now at $1,348 ($251 off), more up to $340 off

We are just starting to see the latest M4 MacBook Pro lineup reaching down to new Amazon all-time low pricing and the most affordable just hit its best price ever there. The entry-level 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD is now starting down at $1,347.68 shipped to deliver the lowest Amazon price to date alongside deals across several other configurations you’ll find below.

As of right now the silver 14-inch M4 Pro is starting at the $1,347.68 shipped low while the Space Black is a touch higher at $1,360.51, but this too is the lowest we have tracked at Amazon or from any other online dealer you can order for delivery.

We just recently sat down to detail the value proposition of the M4 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM that is currently starting at the $849 Amazon all-time low. As I mentioned, the M4 Air is really starting to become more and more tempting to this long-time MacBook Pro user with its much lower price point, M4 chip, and expanded display support, but as pricing drops into the $250 off range on more affordable MacBook Pro models, the much better and brighter display, expanded I/O, and more traditional (silver) and sleek (Space Black) colors on the Pro are certainly worth consideration for some.

While the 16-inch models aren’t quite as low as they were earlier this week, just about all of the 14-inchers below have either returned to Amazon all-time low pricing or have hit the lowest prices to date:

Upgraded Apple Watch Series 10 models now up to $160 off at Amazon, base models from $299

Pricing on the base model 42mm and 46mm Apple Watch Series 10 models has remained steady at the $100 off mark – deals are currently starting from $299 Amazon all-time lows. But after the GPS + Cell models jumped back up price earlier this week, the straight $110 in savings is now live once again on select configurations, including both the 42mm and 46mm models.

The base GPS + Cell models carry list prices at $499 and $529, respectively. But you will now find both models on sale at $110 off via Amazon with prices once again sitting at $389 and $419 shipped, depending on the band you’re after. While not all band options are at the $110 off mark right now, there are some back down at the lowest price we have tracked online since release last fall.

We are also still tracking the $150 price drops on the Titanium GPS + Cell models, as seen below – the 46mm Apple Watch Series 10 Titanium GPS + Cell with the Milanese Loop is actually $160 off:

While some of the select Milanese Loop models have sold for $10 less in extremely limited sales at Amazon previously, you’re otherwise looking at all-time low pricing across the lineup. The only time any of these watches have sold for less than that is in limited YMMV or in-store offers very few folks would have even had a chance to take advantage of.

Apple Pencil Pro nearly 25% off at Amazon, or open-box at over 43% off: Deals from $73

We are tracking some notable chances to save some cash on the flagship Apple Pencil Prohere today. There are some more affordable alternatives like the ESR Geo iPad Pencil with Apple Find My for a whole lot less at $30, but if you’re looking for the real thing there are some deals to take advantage of right now. Amazon has now dropped its brand-new listing on the Apple Pencil Pro back down to the lowest we have tracked in several months at $99 and Best Buy’s open-box listing has dropped to $73. Details below.

Regularly $129, Amazon is now offering nearly 25% in savings on the latest Apple Pencil Pro for your M4 iPad Pro, M2/M3 iPad Air, or the iPad mini 7. But for folks willing to go open-box, there’s even more cash to be saved.

Best Buy’s “excellent” condition units are said to work and look like new while shipping with a full 1-year Apple warranty. They are also now sitting down at $72.99 shipped – that’s more than 43% off and among the lowest price we have tracked on the flagship Apple Pencil Pro. There’s nothing quite like a brand-new unit, but if the extra $26 in savings is worth it for you, this is a particularly notable deal.

Air vs. Pro: Is the latest M4 MacBook Air at the $849 all-time low the best value for an Apple laptop?

The M4 MacBook Air has quickly become the best deal on Apple portable computing. There’s nothing quite like a shiny new Space Black M4 MacBook Pro, but as a longtime MBP user the new lower prices Apple unleashed on top of the $150 price drops on the M4 MacBook Air has me second-guessing how much I really need on new MacBook Pro – the $849 all-time low entry price on the M4 MacBook Air is seriously enticing.

While the M4 Mac mini (especially with the deals we are tracking right now) is clearly the most affordable current-generation Mac in the lineup, that’ clearly’s not going to cut it for folks looking to land a portable Apple notebook. That leaves us with the new M4 MacBook Air and the M4 MacBook Pro.

Clearly the M4 MacBook Pro is, well, pro, and the Air clearly isn’t. But we are talking about a pair of machines that both carry Apple’s latest and greatest M4 chip and quite a notable price disparity here. The M4 MacBook Air is currently starting at $849 with 16GB of RAM and the M4 MacBook Pro is now starting at $1,386 shipped.

Now as you might have seen some folks talking about online, if you start comparing the spec’d out M4 MacBook Air– a machine configured to carry the same top-line specs as the M4 MacBook Pro (RAM and storage) – the price difference becomes less glaring.

But as of right now we are talking about $600 more for the most affordable MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD – an M4 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD can be had on Amazon right now for $1,049 shipped. Let’s take a look at these two models with the current sale prices:

The difference isn’t quite as much when you factor in the current deal prices, but we are still looking at over $300 less on the M4 Air – both models for the record, are very close to the lowest prices we have ever tracked online. The M4 Pro is likely to get updated to M5 sooner as well, if that matters to you.

Here are some of the main factors to consider when it comes to spending more on the MacBook Pro:

  • Much better and brighter screen
  • It has power/data ports on both sides of the chassis
  • More extensive I/O – HDMI, SD Card slot, and so on
  • There’s slightly better battery life depending on the specific use case

And here are some of the real selling points of the M4 MacBook Air for me:

  • Far lower price tag on the more affordable configurations
  • Includes the same 16GB of RAM at the lowest price point
  • Can natively support two display with access to the onboard keyboard

I love the MacBook Pro and have been a user for years. I am however considering the switch for the cash savings here. The M4 MacBook Air has gotten much less expensive than it used to be, it is powered by the same chip – there’s really no point in comparing the far more powerful and pricey M4 Pro here, and I just don’t value many of the main factors on the MBP above enough to warrant the extra spend.

I certainly wouldn’t blame anyone for opting for a sweet Space Black MacBook Pro with the far better display, that’s for sure – it’s a gorgeous machine (oh, what I would do for a Space Black M4 MacBook Air). But these days, for my personal needs on a MacBook, the M4 MacBook Air is basically all I really require – I’m not video editing much or have a need for the highest-quality movie watching experience, I’m rarely ever in need if an SD slot on-the-go, and the native dual display action on the M4 Air with access to the keyboard is more than enough for me at home.

Apple’s most affordable 13-inch Space Black M4 iPad Pro just hit its best price of the year at $212 off

We are now tracking one of the best prices ever on Apple’s most affordable 13-inch iPad Pro, the 256GB M4 iPad Pro in Space Black. Regularly $1,299, it has now ducked down even lower than the $200 pice drop we spotted a couple times this year – it is now sitting at $1,087.60 shipped via Amazon.

Now just under $212 off the regular list price, you’re looking at the best price we have tracked on Amazon all year and the lowest we can find from any reputable online dealer.

While the 11-inch entry model is still at $899, or $100 off the going rate, today’s featured deal delivers the best price around on the most affordable 13-inch model – the thinnest iPad Apple has ever released.

We just recently detailed the value proposition on the least pricey iPad models in the current-generation lineup, the iPad (A16) and the iPad mini 7, both of which are now sitting at Amazon all-time low pricing starting at $299 shipped.
