Amikin Survival Tips and Tricks
Tip #1: Use the Nexus Tree to Learn About the World
The open world of Amikin Survival: Anime RPG is wild and dangerous but its’ the one that you must explore if you want to survive. You get FIVE regions. Each region has a set environment, is full of unique and much-needed resources, and is home to different types of Amikins.
Try and explore these regions unprepared and you’ll be hitting the ‘Revive” button within a few minutes. But, there is a workaround to this. You can learn about the overall environment of any regions, see which type of Amikins roam there, and – more importantly – which resources are available in every region.
Simply head to the Nexus Tree, stand in the white, spinning circle, tap the action button and you’ll open the Navigation Map. Tap on the region you want to learn about and you’ll see every detail. See an example in the image below.
Tip #2: Craft a Pathfinder Axe ASAP
You can’t do everything with your bare hands and Amikins won’t help chop down trees or gather stone from the mountains. That’s where a proper weapon, that doubles as a tool, will come handy.
The very first weapon that you can craft in Amikin Survival is a Scavenger Club. It’s a decent weapon but has no use other than smacking an Amikin in its head. Then comes the Scavenger Axe. This axe can also help you defend yourself against Amikins but it can also chop down trees to help you gather more wood. But, you’ll see it’s shortcomings soon enough.
That’s why, you want to craft a Pathfinder Axe as soon as possible. It can deal a lot of damage to Amikins, help you chop down trees, break down boulders into smaller stones and large metal parts into smaller scraps. In short, you’ll collect resources much more quickly and easily with the Pathfinder Axe in your hands.
Tip #3: Build the Amikin Console
You’ll need all hands on deck when constructing work stations and crafting weapons, costumes, and other important supplies. These hands will come from your trusty allies, the Amikins. Build an Amikin Console and you can assign roles to every Amikin that you have caught so far.
The two Amikin roles are Fighter and Worker. Fighter Amikins will accompany you at all times during your exploration, ready to kill and die at your command. Worker Amikins, on the other hand, will stay behind to build and craft whatever you need.
You can have up to SIX Fighter Amikins and FOURTEEN Worker Amikins once you unlock all the available slots.
Tip #4: Extensively Study the Technology Tab
Just as you learned about the FIVE regions at the Nexus Tree, there is a way to learn about every piece of technology, tools, and weapons that you can craft in Amikin Survival. You can find out what each equipment does and what materials you’ll need to make that.
Simple tap on the saw and hammer icon in the bottom bar on the main gameplay screen to access the Technology tab. Scroll and find the item/weapon/building you want to build and you can find out evertyhing about it.
The main objective behind this extensive study is to avoid becoming a hoarder and only gather the resources that you actually need. Inventory is very limited when you’re exploring.
Tip #5: Store Up on Berries and Healing Herbs
Hoarding in Amikin Survival is not ideal. However, when it comes to Berries and Healing Herbs, pick up every single one that you see while exploring.
Berries and Healing Herbs are two crucial resources that will keep you and your Amikins alive. Whenever you’re running low on energy, Berries can restore it overtime. Healing Herbs are the quick healers that restore HP. You can use them to replenish your HP as well as an Amikin’s HP.
These things will keep you alive so I suggest you keep them in your Inventory at all times, especially when you set out to explore a dangerous region.
Tip #6: Build Universal Boxes and Storage Units
You can expand your on-hand inventory by buying 10 more slots for $7.18. Or, you can set up Universal Boxes and Storage to free up space in your bag.
A Universal Box is a small storage box that can store up to 5 items of any type. You only need 5x Wood and 5x Metal Scrap to build one Universal Box. It’s a beginner-friendly storage option that has two bigger versions too- Universal Box Level 2 and Level 3.
You can also opt for resource-specific Storage. There’s a Wood Storage, Food Storage, Stone Storage, Equipment Storage, Metal Storage, Amigear Storage, and Fabric Storage. Each of these storage units have up to three levels. Higher level offers more storage and unlocks new technologies.
