64 iPhones star in unique music video that Tim Cook says was shot on iPhone

Today in a post on X, Tim Cook shared a new music video from OK Go that puts the iPhone to use in fun and unique ways.

OK Go’s music video highlights iPhone in fun ways

OK Go’s new music video is for the song A Stone Only Rolls Downhill, and per the start of the video itself, 64 iPhones show up in creative ways during the video.

Tim Cook shared the video with the hashtag #ShotOniPhone, revealing that OK Go not only featured a lot of iPhones in their project, but it also was apparently shot on the iPhone.

It’s unknown exactly which iPhone models were used, but the video at least exclusively shows iPhones with a Dynamic Island.

OK Go’s video is a fun demonstration of creativity that I’d be curious to see a making-of video for. Who knows? Maybe the making of could even be shot on iPhone itself.

iPhone videography continues to grow in popularity, and this summer there will even be a big-budget blockbuster coming to theaters that was shot entirely on an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

And now, thanks to the emerging trend of multi-cam apps on the App Store, both the iPhone and iPad’s camera can serve as key components of a quality production.

What do you think of the new iPhone music video? Think we’ll start to see ‘Shot on iPhone’ projects grow? Let us know in the comments.
