Each month, Momo’s Book Club selects themed, age-appropriate books highlighting inclusion and representation to evoke meaningful parent-child discussions. Momo’s offers packages for kids 0 to 3, 4 to 8, 8 to 12, and young adult; subscribers can choose from one to three books per month. Offerings arrive in a plain brown envelope, individually wrapped in bright, cheery paper. Our 0 to 3 box centered around language, communication, and empathy and included a book on American Sign Language, a Japanese and English hardback called Words to Make a Friend, and the board book How Do You Say I Love You?, in which characters say “I love you” in languages from around the world. Every title was a winner—not preachy or pedantic, just good books that kids like.
