You can get a flagship if you want top performance, but you should get a gaming phone if you want whatever is higher than the top. Gaming devices might not tick all the boxes that the average flagship does, especially when it comes to the camera, but you can’t mess around with them in the domain of raw power.
Redmagic is one of the biggest gaming phone brands (along with Asus), and despite releasing the Redmagic 9s Pro devices a few months ago, it is time for the Redmagic 10 series to make its appearance this month. We now have an official date, and we know some pretty groundbreaking specs too.
The Redmagic 10 Series Is Arriving On November 13th
The Redmagic 10 series has always been, in my opinion, the better-looking lineup for gaming phones—I’m sorry, Asus ROG Phone. They’re angular, simple, and even go to the extent of an under-display selfie camera to keep the screen looking unblemished. It works a lot, in my opinion. And with the bezels getting thinner than ever in the official images the company has shared, it is going to look really good.
Anyway, if you’ve always been excited about gaming phones, you’ll be glad to know you don’t need to wait too long to see what Redmagic is ready to show us. Redmagic has made it official that the device will launch in China on November 13th at 7 AM GMT.
If you won’t be able to wake up that early (or stay up late, depending on where you live), don’t worry. We’ll bring you everything you need to know about the phone when the time comes.
The Redmagic 10 Phones Will Certainly Arrive In Global Markets Later On
Sure, the launch is just in China for now, but with a device like this, there’s no doubt that it is going to eventually find its way into the hands of international customers, just like the last Redmagic device.
That launch will likely be this year, as last year’s came in mid-December. However, there is the possibility that it could end up being pushed to January. Let’s wait and see.
“7” Is Important: A 7-Inch Display And 7,000mAh Battery Expected
We’re talking about the Redmagic “10” series, but “7” might be a more important number for the company this year, as we know that the company is about to max out two specs beyond a level that any flagship has potentially ever done before.
First off, the device is expected to come with a massive 7-inch display, making it the only device released in 2024 with a screen that large, and the first flagship phone to hit that mark. On top of that, it is expected to have the thinnest bezels of any phone, so it probably won’t even feel that much larger in the hand.
The second place that 7 shows up is in the battery compartment. Yep. A 7,000 mAh battery in a flagship phone. Gaming phones have always had massive batteries, but this is on another scale entirely. It’ll be paired with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is an incredibly powerful chip, so this phone looks set to tick a lot of boxes.
