Apple Card users are now eligible for a six-month free trial of Uber One, as part of a new promotion launched on Thursday.
The Uber One trial is available alongside the standard 3% Daily Cash back available with Uber and Uber Eats purchases made via Apple Card.
To take part in the promotion, users will need to sign up for an Uber One subscription via Apple Card and complete the purchase through Apple Pay, using the exclusive link they received via email from Apple.
New and returning Uber One subscribers are eligible for the promotion, but the offer does not extend to existing Uber One subscribers. After the six-month free trial ends, the Uber One subscription auto-renews for $9.99 per month unless canceled.
An Uber One membership can be canceled at any time in the Uber One section of the Uber app, by selecting Manage Membership, then End Membership, then Leave Uber One.
Apple Card users who cancel before the six-month free trial ends will still receive the full six months of Uber One free. Those who cancel less than 24 hours before their next renewal day may see a charge that will be automatically refunded.
The Uber One subscription itself includes perks such as a $0 Delivery Fee on eligible Uber Eats orders, like food and groceries. It also comes with membership-exclusive promotions and can get users up to 10% off eligible deliveries and pickup orders from Uber Eats.
Apple’s email about the Uber One promotion also includes an important detail about using an Apple Card for T-Mobile Purchases. Starting in 2025, users will receive only 2% Daily Cash back, instead of the current 3% that such purchases earn Apple Card owners.
Still, cardholders can receive 3% Daily Cash back on Apple Card purchases with Booking.com, Nike, and Walgreens. Additional information is available on Apple’s website.
