Apple Vision Pro users will have a much easier time finding spatial and 3D content thanks to a new tab in the Apple TV app in visionOS 2.5, which is now available.
The latest cycle of Apple operating system releases is here, and they’re quite devoid of user-facing features. At the least, Apple Vision Pro users got one beneficial upgrade.
Apple’s Immersive Video has always existed in the Apple TV app as a kind of list, but it wasn’t fastened to a specific part of the app. Users would either have to search for them, or hope it showed up in the top highlights.
Now, with visionOS 2.5, Immersive Video and 3D movies are under a specific tab in the Apple TV app. The slowly growing catalog will now be much easier to find in its complete state.
Other ecosystem updates don’t apply to visionOS, and there aren’t any changes to Apple Intelligence, so that’s it for the update.
As always, there are also unspecified bug fixes.
The build number for the release version of visionOS 2.5 is 22O473, the same as the RC edition.
How to install visionOS 2.5
If you’d like to update immediately, navigate to Settings, select General, select Software Update, then select the update option for visionOS 2.5. The update will complete after the Apple Vision Pro prompts you to remove the headset.
