A few months ago, tech giant Apple launched its iPhone 12 series of smartphones in the market. Now, reports about the company’s upcoming lineup of phones, the iPhone 13 series, has been making rounds for some time.

In the latest development, a new report claims that the Apple iPhone 13 could come with an upgraded ultra-wide-angle lens with a varying aperture of f/1.8. This should result in better low-light photography.

However, it is being said that the usage of the upgraded lens is limited to the iPhone 13 Pro model only and the other models will continue to use what is currently being offered. From the year 2022, the company is expected to use the upgraded sensor on all the models.

It is also being said that the Cupertino-based tech giant could be expanding functionalities like LiDAR scanners and mobile image stabilization sensors to more models from this year.

Recently, it was reported that the Pro models in the upcoming iPhone 13 lineup will come with a 1TB storage option. It is not yet known if the company plans to increase the storage capacity in the base model, which is currently at 128GB.

It is rumored that the upcoming iPhone 13 models will come with a smaller notch on top of the display. The company is also said to include an in-display fingerprint in the iPhone 13 models, along with support for Wi-Fi 6E.

While it’s still early to get confirmation about all these reports but there’s a high possibility of them turning out to be true. We expect to know more about the iPhone 13 lineup in the coming months, ahead of their launch in September this year.
