If you missed the last five years due to a cosmic event, what would be the most important thing that you’ve missed? The launch of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S of course. That’s the premise behind the latest ad for the consoles featuring Anthony Mackie as Falcon from the Marvel cinematic universe.
The premise behind the ad is that Falcon has been away for five years and is asking what he’s missed. The commercial plays it off dramatically before cutting to a store employee pointing to the Xbox Series X and Series S.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier starts streaming on March 19 on Disney Plus. It looks to quench the thirst of Marvel and comic book fans now that Marvel’s critically-acclaimed WandaVision has ended its first season.
Disney Plus has an app on Xbox consoles, so Falcon can watch himself in the latest series and all of the Marvel movies. If you’d like to watch Disney Plus on your Windows 10 PC, you can easily install it as a PWA.
The Winter Soldier doesn’t appear in the ad, so we don’t know what console he prefers. The two have had a playful back and forth in the films, so maybe the Winter Soldier prefers PS5.
