Been dying to play World of Warcraft: Shadowlands on your Windows 10 ARM64 device, but have been unable to? Well, that’s changed as of late, as can be evidenced by the game’s newfound support for Windows 10 ARM64. You can try out WoW on your ARM64 device right now in the Chains of Domination Public Test Realm (PTR).

In fact, not only are you welcome to test out the game in the PTR, but you’re invited to by Blizzard itself. As can be seen on the WoW forum thread wherein the new support was mentioned, community manager Kaivax invited people to give feedback about how the game runs for them on Windows 10 ARM64 devices (via Jeremy Sinclair on Twitter). So even if you’ve yet to give feedback, you still have time! Blizzard’s always listening.

Well, almost always listening. As can be seen in the thread, some users feel sadness over the lack of native Linux support now that even Windows 10 ARM64 is getting the full treatment. Alas. The perpetual struggle for Linux users to be recognized continues.

As with most WoW threads, this one is loaded with interesting musings. One of which comes from forum user Tyclock, who said, “would be nice if someone can test this on flagship phones using WINE for android. This would be great to run in Samsung Dex/Motorola Ready mode.”

Does this new support mean the main WoW experience can be boiled down to a mobile game format? Test away and report back; Blizzard’s all ears.
