The OnePlus X was a one-hit-wonder for OnePlus in the affordable smartphone segment but after launching a range of Nord handsets in 2020 the brand is getting ready to return with a pair of follow-up devices. The new handsets are called the OnePlus Nord CE 5G and Nord N200 5G with the former set to launch in Europe on June 10th.

The successor to the Nord N100, the Nord N200 5G, will come to the US and Canada soon although OnePlus hasn’t announced a specific launch date yet. Not too much is known about the two new phones other than at least one of them is likely to be powered by one of MediaTek’s Dimensity processors.

While the Nord N200 5G will launch sometime soon in North America the Nord CE (Core Edition) 5G is set to launch in Europe and India on June 10th, with OnePlus teasing the following about it:

“We distilled the original Nord down to its core elements, and added a couple of extra features to bring you a phone that’s a little more than you’d expect, at an even more affordable price”

With around two weeks to go until the Nord CE 5G’s launch date on June 10th, we’re sure that the serial leakers out there will be beavering away to dig up all the saucy details on the new phones.
