Gurman reiterates rumored iPhone 13 upgrades, more new Apple products

    A new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has reiterated Apple’s rumored plans for its iPhone 13, as well as rumored new AirPods, Apple Watch Series 7, and a new iPad Mini 6.

    In a new Power On Video for Bloomberg Gurman reiterates that Apple is planning four new iPhones based on the existing iPhone 12 size lineup, a 5.4-inch model, two 6.1-inch models, and a 6.7-inch device. He says this year’s update will be more “modest”, with the biggest change coming by way of a smaller notch. He also states Apple’s iPhone 13 will get a new A15 processor, a ProMotion 120Hz display for the ‘Pro’ iPhone models, and new camera features. Gurman also reiterated a September release date for the new device, which looks set to be Apple’s best ever iPhone

    Also following up on previous rumors, Gurman says Apple has new base-model AirPods on the way that look more like Apple’s AirPods Pro, as well as a new iPad mini that will debut a big design overhaul. Gurman further stated Apple will debut new watches (plural) featuring a flatter display and faster internal processors. As noted in a separate report, Apple is also reportedly planning a new base model iPad with a new processor. From that report:

    In a new Power On video for Bloomberg, Gurman listed planned upgrades and expectations for Apple’s iPhone 13, new AirPods, and a new iPad mini, as well as plans for a new ninth-generation iPad:

    … as well as a new ninth-generation iPad, geared towards students, with a thinner form factor and faster processor.

    Finally, Gurman says Apple will debut new mini-LED MacBook Pro models with a new M1X Apple silicon processor, the first major overhaul to the MacBook Pro since 2019.
