SK Hynix had a huge one-day sale on Monday that you might have missed. Usually after a big day of deals like that the prices spike back up to street value if not even higher. If you missed the sale, that’s ok, because it looks like SK Hynix isn’t quite done. While all the SSD prices did jump back up, SK Hynix has now included a 15% off on-page coupon you can clip. They don’t quite get as low as they were on Monday, but the deals are still a really nice value if you need an SSD upgrade.
So today you can get the SK Hynix Gold P31 1TB M.2 NVMe solid state drive for $114.74 after you clip the on-page coupon. That’s not as low as the $108 deal we saw Monday, but it’s way better than the $135 street price it normally goes for and would be without the coupon. The 500GB version drops to $63.74, which again is not as low as Monday’s $60 deal but is much better than its $75 street price.
We reviewed the SK Hynix Gold P31 drive and gave it 4.5 stars out of 5. Cale Hunt said it “cuts the price out from a lot of the competition, yet it offers stronger endurance and faster performance. It’s an excellent option for anyone looking to upgrade their PCIe 3 storage.”
The drive can reach read and write speeds of up to 3,500 MB/s and 3,200 MB/s thanks to the proprietary Hyperwrite cache technology. That’s so much faster than anything a regular SATA SSD can do and will make loading applications or even your operating system seem nearly instant. The drives are also incredibly durable and have been stress tested to survive up to 1,200 terabytes written.
SK Hynix covers all of them with a five-year warranty.
