If you don’t have space for a big desktop pc and a laptop doesn’t suit your needs either, you may want to take a closer look at the Pantera Pico PC that will fit in your backpack or office drawer with ease. Powered by an Intel Celeron processor with up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of M.2 SSD storage, the Pantera Pico PC proves that dynamite does come in small packages. All you need is a monitor or TV in your hotel room or tiny office space (or XDO’s Pico Projector) and the Pantera Pico PC will enable you to complete your task.
The Kickstarter campaign for XDO’s Pantera Pico PC is live with the Super Early Bird Special starting from $149 for the 4/64GB version.
Starting at $149 for the 4/64GB variant, the Pantera Pico PC in full spec with an Intel Celeron J4125 processor, 8GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD will cost $249, with multi-pack options also available if you want to buy more than one. It’s small enough to be hidden in the TV cabinet and weighs around the same as a modern smartphone, and is capable of being used as a media center with 4K @60fps streaming, a Point-of-Sale system, to control digital signage, with CCTV systems, and more.
An LED strip around the top of the Pantera Pico PC shows whether it’s been powered on or not, while the ultra-quiet fans keep it nice and cool.
You can choose between Windows 10, Windows 10 Pro, or the Ubuntu OS (Linux), with the diminutive PC also eligible to be upgraded to Windows 11, in case you were wondering.
Once you’ve chosen a Panteral Pico PC model in your preferred color, you’ll be able to pick from a choice of accessories that are specifically created to complement the tiny PC, such as folding keyboards, power banks, a mini Pico projector (review coming soon), mice, and a selection of handy USB hubs.
We don’t often cover crowdfunding campaigns, so we have some advice. This is a Kickstarter campaign which means that you’ll only be charged once the Panteral Pico PC has been fully funded, although it’s important to remember that there are no guarantees that a product will reach completion when it comes to crowdfunding. As always, only back a campaign if you are certain. This is by no means a reflection on XDO, it’s just a reminder to consider the risk.
