Forza Horizon 5 players, especially on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles, have been left partially in limbo after a major FH5 patch update introduced as many new issues as it fixed last week. The most concerning of the issues for many players was a saving problem on Xbox Series X|S consoles, which made it nearly impossible to engage with many parts of the game without frequent freezes and restarts.

On Tuesday, Playground Games released the Dec. 7, 2021 hotfix update for Forza Horizon 5, which aims to fix this problem and nothing more. Hopefully, Xbox Series X|S players will be able to return to FH5 and play like normal after installing the update. Additional fixes and improvements are undoubtedly heading to Forza Horizon 5 in the future, but Playground focused on fixing the biggest issue first.
