OPPO’s Find N foldable smartphone will be announced on December 15th

Ahead of OPPO’s INNO Day conference being held next week its Chief Product Officer (CPO), Pete Lau has teased the brands’ very first foldable smartphone – the Find N. Having taken four years of development to get to this point, OPPO’s foldable smartphone is in its sixth iteration and is now deemed worthy of being unveiled to the public on December 15th, in China at least anyway.

The Find N takes after Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 in that it sports a cover display on the exterior with the inner panel unfolding into a larger viewing area. There’s no word on how big the Find N’s displays are, nor any other specs sadly apart from having rounded corners and slim bezels. It’s also unknown whether the Find N will feature the retractable camera that OPPO teased a few days ago.

“Whether it’s fast charging, high refresh rates, mobile photography covering several focal lengths, or 5G connectivity, smartphone development has reached a limit that requires new ways of thinking and new approaches to continue innovating.”

These are all things that we’ll find out on December 15th during OPPO’s INNO Day event, where we’ll also learn where the Find N will be released and perhaps just as importantly, how much it will cost.
