Super73 already offers some of the best e-bikes on the market. Blending the line between a casual moped and fast, stylish, powerful e-bikes, but they’re not slowing down anytime soon. The company recently sent out teaser emails to customers suggesting it plans to release “segment-busting new models” early next year.
Since its first electric bike arrived in 2016, Super73 has continued to offer excellent options for fans. In February 2020, the company released its latest and greatest Super73 R-series, its first full-suspension e-bike. Not to mention the sleek dirt-bike style RX line, and has since released multiple limited-edition RX models.
Now, it looks like Super73 is ready to kick things up a notch. According to Electrek, the company just sent out marketing emails stating it “plans to turn two-wheeled transportation on its head by unveiling a bold new concept, segment-busting new models, as well as new accessories and apparel lines.”
Judging by the teaser image at the top of the page, we could be in for something exciting. And while we doubt Super73 will release an electric motorcycle, the company could be preparing to double-down on powerful fat tire e-bikes with off-road chops.
It’s also faced stiff competition as of late from other brands, including Sur Ron and SONDORS, offering e-dirt bikes and the Metacycle. Not to mention traditional fat fire e-bikes from Rad Power Bikes.
It’s worth noting that the email did say a “bold new concept,” so we could see a concept e-motorcycle in some limited capacity, but we’ll have to wait and see. Either way, Super73 has some big plans for 2022, and we’ll get all the details at CES during the first week of January in Las Vegas.
