You’re not the only one who’s having trouble paying an Apple Card balance. Many Apple Card customers are now encountering an “Account Services Unavailable” error when trying to pay their monthly bill, including writers here at Review Geek.
Normally, I would suggest paying your balance on the Apple Card website. But this website is experiencing the same error as the Apple Wallet app. Calling Apple on the phone to pay your balance won’t work either—we tried, and Apple claims that it’s running a “system-wide update.”

Either the company is genuinely performing an update, which seems like a stupid idea on January 31st, or it’s experiencing an outage. If that’s the case, then Green Dot Bank (the institution that handles Apple Card) may be responsible for the issue.
