Porsche Design partners up with AOC to create high-end mini LED monitor

Porsche Design and accessory maker AOC have partnered up to create a high-end monitor. The Porsche Design | AOC Agon Pro PD32M features a 32-inch 4K mini LED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It also has two 8-watt speakers, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and supports AdaptiveSync, though the product’s listing does not specify if that means NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync, or both. The monitor is available for preorder for $1,799.

The price tag of the Porsche Design | AOC Agon Pro PD32M may seem high, but it is comparable to similar monitors. It stacks up nicely against the best gaming monitors and best monitors, including some models built for creators.

The new monitor is an Agon Pro PD32M monitor with some added Porsche Design flair. The stand is designed to look like part of the steering wheel of the luxury automaker’s vehicles, and the “bold, streamlined design of the monitor also takes its inspiration from the world of Porsche sports cars,” according to its listing.

The back of the monitor features a plethora of RGB lighting, which, as far as we know, is not a design element inspired by a Porsche. There are also two hooks for holding headphones that look a bit like gear shifters if you squint hard enough.
