The latest NPD results are in, revealing the games and hardware sold through the month of March 2022 in the U.S.
According to NPD analyst Mat Piscatella, fantasy role-playing title Elden Ring again claimed the top spot on the charts, followed closely by Sony’s Gran Turismo 7 in second place. Sony San Diego’s MLB The Show 22 made it to fourth place, while Horizon Forbidden West, which held second place in the February 2022 NPD results, fell to the number five spot for March.
As for hardware, Xbox Series X|S consoles took the lead position in dollar sales for March 2022 and the first quarter of the year as a whole, while Nintendo Switch remained the best-selling console in units sold.
