Halo fans in the UK and Ireland have not had a way to watch the Halo TV series up to this point. That will change on June 22, 2022 when Paramount Plus launches in those countries, according to a report by Variety. The streaming service will roll out to several other countries this year, including Italy, Germany, and France.
“This year will be monumental for our streaming strategy as we accelerate our global ambitions, rapidly expanding Paramount+ in Europe beginning with the U.K., Italy, Germany, France and more by the end of this year and debut in Asia with South Korea in June, followed by India in 2023,” said Raffaele Annecchino, President and CEO, International Networks, Studios and Streaming, Paramount Global.
The Halo TV series ran into middling reviews early in its run but has received more positive feedback as its first season moved toward a finale. The show’s sixth episode earned a 4/5 in our review. The series also set viewership records for Paramount Plus with its debut.
Paramount Plus will cost £6.99 per month or £69.90 per year in the UK. The streaming service will be available on Sky Platforms in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, and Australia this year as well. Sky Cinema subscribers will get Paramount Plus as part of their subscription at no additional cost.
