If reports are accurate, the 2022 edition of Apple’s annual back to school shopping event will coincide with the availability of the M2 MacBook Pro on Friday.
Apple’s yearly back-to-school offer has been scheduled to kick off Friday. According to a tweet by Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman, there is a potential that the company will offer an Apple gift card with the purchase of an iPad or Mac.
Previously, Apple has offered free AirPods for the purchase of select new hardware.
The company’s back-to-school promotion has had a long history. It began as a discount event, before changing the offer to a free iPod touch starting in 2008.
