Here are the screenshot tricks that you can pull off on your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
Your iPhone is not only used for snapping photos of your surroundings. You can use this next-gen handheld to grab an instant shot of your screen.
For this part, you first need to determine the model of your iPhone. For iPhone 8 versions, iPhone SE models, and older variants, you can rely on the physical button of your device. You can find it in front of your phone.
What you only need to do is to tap the Home Button and click down the side button.
If you own either iPhone 10, 11, 12, or 13, you can simultaneously hold down the side button and the volume up button to grab a shot on your phone’s display.
Once the flash appears on the screen or you hear a camera shutter, the screenshot image will appear immediately. You can check it inside your screenshots folder and camera roll.
Screen Capture on iPad
For iPad users, especially those with iPad mini, iPad Pro, and iPad Air, you just need to press the volume up/down and the top button simultaneously.
On the other hand, if you have an older iPad with a Home Button, press the home button and the top button altogether.
Of course, your Apple Pencil can be a screenshot tool, as well. Here’s the trick: you need to swipe up using the Apple Pencil to grab a quick shot of the photo.

Screen Capture on Apple Watch
The present smartwatches are already high-end and they can perform almost similar tasks to our smartphones. Did you know that you can also take a screenshot using your Apple Watch?
To begin, first, you need to have a Watch app on your smartphone. After that, go to My Watch, then General. Next, select Enable Screenshots and switch it on.
Once you’re already finished, go to Settings, General, and click Enable Screenshots from your device.
To capture a screenshot, pull up the screen that you want to have a copy of. Make sure to hold the side button and the Digital Crown at the same time.
You will know that you succeed in screen capture once the screen turns white on your Apple Watch. You can access the image on the camera roll of your iPhone.
The screenshot technology is not only limited to Apple devices. You can do it on Windows, a Chromebook laptop, and even a Lenovo laptop.
