2023 GMC Canyon: Review, Trims, Specs, Price, New Interior Features, Exterior Design, and Specifications

Bigger and bolder than the Canyon that came before it, the 2023 pickup takes the basic proportions of the Colorado and pares the design back with subtle restraint. Thus far, we’ve only been fully exposed to the designs of the AT4, Denali, and AT4X trims but have been given general info about the rest of the lineup. The Canyon will only be available in standard bed, crew cab guise. On all models, LED lights are standard, while upper trims get access to a power sunroof. The aggressive front bumper is steeply cut back at its lower extremities, where a bash plate showcases the truck’s ruggedness.

A set of 17-inch wheels with 33-inch MT tires are fitted to the AT4X, while you’ll find 18s on the Elevation and AT4 and 20s on the Denali.

The AT4X Edition 1 package sets itself apart further with an LED light bar, black safari bar, red recovery hooks, a performance front skid plate, and a winch from COMEUP. Its 17-inch alloys are beadlock capable, and the bed is more versatile courtesy of reconfigurable bed rails.

The exterior colors of the Canyon will be confirmed in due course, but we’ve already seen it wearing a deep garnet red, white, and black, and expect various greens, beiges, greys, and blues to join the roster.
