Reader recommendation: “Always making them hot and fresh, they have a warm and crusty exterior with a fluffy, almost airy interior. The texture is truly divine. Just had them the other day, and after polishing off a dozen between six of us, my mother and grandfather went back for cider doughnut sandwiches. Here they take two cider doughnuts and make an ice cream sandwich of sorts, using Battenkill Creamery ice cream as the filling. The best cider doughnuts I’ve had in a while!”
