CentralMaine.com noted that Glen Koehler, associate scientist of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) at University of Maine Cooperative Extension, will host an apple growing Q&A at the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association’s Great Maine Apple Day, noon-4 p.m. Oct. 16. Koehler will share some observations on dates, weather, disease and insect pests from the 2022 orcharding season.
