I read a thread a couple of minutes ago about how Apple seems to be neglecting the iMac, and I agree. The iMac was the staple Apple product up until they started dumping all their money on the iPads. I really would enjoy if they went back to their roots and started really focusing on the iMac again. Those initial iMacs, (G3, G4, G5), were revolutionary. The 24″ is fantastic don’t get me wrong, but REALLY… 4 type C ports and a headphone jack?? The MacBooks have more native functionality than the iMacs have nowadays. I certainly wouldn’t mind have an iMac that’s a little thicker so I can have some more IO. I think Apple is starting to see the error of their ways when it comes to IO, what with the new MacBooks having a broader selection of ports and MAGSAFE. They may be going back to their roots.
