Bit Origin Ltd. shares rose 9% to 21 cents at Wednesday morning trading after the company released its quarterly mining production numbers.
The New York-based cryptocurrency mining company has since December moved all of its equipment from a mining facility in Georgia to one in Marion, Indiana, which has installed all 4,250 miners purchased by the company with a total mining hash rate of 403 PH/s as of March 31.
For the first quarter, the company mined 86.4 bitcoins and revenue totaled $1.98 million.
In addition to the Indiana facility, a mining facility in Wyoming is under development.
Shares are up 22.3% since the start of the year but are down 80.2% since a year ago.
