AirPods 3 were released in 2021, but Apple is only just offering a discounted refurbished option through its online store.
Apple announced AirPods 3 during a special October Apple Event in 2021 called “Unleashed.” The product replaced the aging second-generation AirPods with a new design and improved features.
The official Apple refurbished store now offers AirPods 3 for $30 off at $149. This model comes with a MagSafe-compatible case, and a Lightning-only case is available for $10 less.
Apple products are seldom discounted new, but Amazon has the Lightning-only AirPods 3 at $10 off.
AirPods 3 were redesigned to look more similar to AirPods Pro with their shorter stems and bulbous earpiece. They offer Adaptive EQ, Spatial Audio, and up to six hours of listening time.
