While technically a single day (it’s the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S. or November 24 in 2023) Black Friday has gradually expanded to encompass Cyber Monday (November 27), as well as the weeks leading up to the big weekend. These days, in fact, you’re likely to see Black Friday-branded sales and deals through almost the entirety of November.

Each year Apple holds a Black Friday shopping event, but rather than offering discounts it just gives gift cards for certain products. In 2022 this promotion applied to the iPad Air and iPad mini ($50/£50 Apple Gift Card) and 9th-gen iPad ($30/£30 Apple Gift Card). In 2023, we expect all models to be included in the shopping event, since Apple hasn’t updated any iPads this year. So it’s likely Apple will offer $30 gift cards on 10th-gen iPad purchases and possibly up to $150 when buying the iPad Pro.
