There’s still time to pre‐register for Call of Duty Mobile Warzone
As part of the game release announcement, video game publisher Activision expressed thanks to over 50 million people who pre-registered for the Warzone game on their native app stores. If you’re among them, you’ll receive the Ghost Condemned operator skin, M4 Archfiend and X12 Prince of Hell weapon blueprints, Foe’s Flame Vinyl, and Dark Familiar Emblem as a reward after the launch.
If you want in on this mouthwatering loot, you can preorder CoDM Warzone on the Apple App Store or pre-register it on the Google Play Store. Pre-registration also works through the game’s Official website.
Synchronization is a strong theme surrounding the game, and Activision wants to make it easier for you to play from anywhere. Armed with your game ID, you can level up your player, weapons, and XP, select Battle Pass bundles, among other things, and carry them over to the console and PC versions of CoD Warzone and Modern Warfare III.
Even more interesting is the communication with your squad and enemies. You’ll have a comprehensive friends list, chat channels, and more social features. We love the part where you can eavesdrop on nearby enemy comms to hear their last words after eliminating them — And yes, you guessed it. It’s the same Proximity Chat feature we’ve seen in Warzone 2.
The maps are immersive
Post-launch, CoDM Warzone will allow you to explore two major maps: Verdansk and Rebirth Island. Verdansk is a vast cityscape with numerous zones to search for loot and matches accommodating up to 120 players. If you get eliminated during gameplay, there’s a second chance to reappear in the iconic Verdansk Gulag. It’s a mode where defeated players compete to rejoin the match.
On the other hand, Rebirth Island shakes up Battle Royale with its smaller map and non-stop action. You’ll fight in a central prison or explore the island’s edges, respawning if your teammate is alive without going through the Gulag.
In addition, multiplayer modes will feature maps like Scrapyard, Shipment, and Shoot House, along with Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Domination, among other game types.
Pre-registration doesn’t mean eligibility
If the first Call of Duty Mobile game is anything to go by, Warzone will be one hungry game. Though Activision allows anyone to pre-register for it, your device still needs to meet its minimum system requirements to play smoothly. At the least, you should have an Android phone with 3GB RAM, Qualcomm Adreno 618 GPU, and Android 10 OS. On iOS or iPadOS, you need version 15, 3GB RAM, and Apple’s own A12 Bionic chip. If your device lacks these basic features, you’ll need an upgrade. Alternatively, choose from other casual game selections that won’t overwork it.
