Epic Crossover Event comes to Star Trek Fleet Command

Star Trek Fleet Command has just announced an exciting new update where you can unite with other players to face off against the formidable alliance of Sarris, the primary antagonist, and the Klingons, an alien species.

The update also introduces new officers from the Galaxy Quest universe, including Jason Nesmith (Tim Allen), Gwen DeMarco (Sigourney Weaver), Laliari (Missi Pyle), and Alexander Dane (Alan Rickman).

Join the epic battle against Sarris and the Klingons

The creators of the Star Trek Fleet Command mobile game, Scopely, have just announced a new update. The update introduces a crossover event where Galaxy Quest content has now been integrated for a limited time. Galaxy Quest is an old science fiction movie from 1999 that parodies the Star Trek franchise. It stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, and others.

In the new update, the Galaxy Quest crew finds themselves in the Star Trek Fleet Command galaxy and must confront their nemesis, Sarris, and the Klingons to find a way back home. Sarris and the Klingons are launching a galaxy-wide invasion, requiring you and other players to team up and fight back. The invasion unfolds in phases, starting with the appearance of Fatu-Krey hostiles that you must defeat to damage the overall invasion. These hostiles will appear in existing systems, and you’ll fight them to earn new loot for the event store.

In the second phase, Chimeras will emerge, and battles against them are limited to ten rounds. Luckily for you, their health will not recover between fights, making it easier to defeat them in subsequent rounds. The battle ends in a draw if the round limit is reached and the ship isn’t destroyed. You’ll receive a participation reward and won’t face additional damage or loss.

New NSEA Protector Ship and more perks

Scopely has added a new NSEA Protector ship to the Fleet Command game. It can break the Warp 10 barrier and has a special ability to “roll back the clock” in battles. You can restore some of its hull health. This effect helps not just your ship but other players’ ships as well. However, if Vemet is the captain, his ability will override the Omega 13 Device, and it won’t work.

In the game, you’ll also find 15 new systems in the Mirror Universe. However, only the NSEA Protector ship can explore them. The ship will help you mine Raw Trellium more efficiently. These new areas come with fresh hostiles and resources, giving you more to discover and challenge yourself. Here’s more to enjoy:

  • New alliance tournaments: Competitions where alliances earn points and rewards by completing tasks.
  • New Officers: New characters from Galaxy Quest with unique abilities.
  • New missions: Additional objectives related to the Galaxy Quest storyline.
  • New primes: Upgrades that improve gameplay efficiency.
  • New refits: Ship modifications for enhanced abilities.
  • New cosmetics: New visual items for player customization.
  • New battle passes: Limited-time events with rewards for completing tasks.
