I’ve always been one of those people who just couldn’t get on with open-conduction headphones. You know the type — those bone-conducting, after-sport headphones that promise to keep you aware of your surroundings while you’re pounding the pavement? Yeah, not for me.
And I suspect I’m not alone. The concept is sound in theory, but the reality, for many, it just ends up becoming a strange, muffled audio experience that leaves you feeling more like a cyborg than a music lover.
