Honor Magic V3 And MagicPad 2 Launching Globally Next Month

The foldable market isn’t like it was a year or two after it came to life. Back then, most manufacturers could get on with the most basic devices at exorbitant prices because the competition was lean. These days, we’re seeing a lot more competition in the space, and it’s beautiful.

The Honor Magic V3 launched not too long ago, though exclusive to China. However, it’s now official that arguably one of the best foldables in the game is about to find its way to the global market on September 5th.

IFA stands for Innovation For All, and it is a yearly convention that brings us tech lovers all sorts of cool stuff to look at. IFA Berlin 2024 is going to be taking place in early September, and we know Honor is going to be there.

The company will be showing off three devices: the foldable Honor Magic V3, the large Honor MagicPad 2 tablet, and its slim and powerful Honor MagicBook Art 14 laptop. Of course, let’s just focus on the first two since we’re all about Android here.

The Flagship-Grade Honor Magic V3 Foldable Will Be Coming To The World

The Honor Magic V3 launched last month and to say that it was greatly anticipated would somehow be an understatement. The device’s predecessor was considered to be one of the best foldable phones available when it launched, and in terms of the design and flagship specifications, it was certainly a winner.

The Honor Magic V3 came out and somehow ended up being thinner and lighter than its predecessor without compromising on the rest of the spec sheet. You still get Qualcomm’s very best processor, large and high-quality displays on the inside and the outside, amazing cameras, and great battery and charging specs.

The Honor Magic V3 is simply one of the best foldables that you can get right now, but the problem was that it was only available for Chinese buyers. Thankfully, that’s set to change now, and the device will be available globally, though the exact regions and the pricing aren’t quite certain at the moment. However, the $1,799 mark seems to be popular for flagships and it’ll definitely bring a lot more than others with that price tag.

Honor Will Also Be Launching Its MagicPad 2 12.3

Honor will also be releasing its MagicPad 2 12.3 for the global market. This Android tablet has been released in China already, but if you live anywhere else, you’ll be glad to know that you’ll soon be able to get your hands on it much easier.

The device comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for plenty of power, along with a 10,050 mAh battery and 66W fast wired charging (great to see, since tablets, despite their massive cells, rarely come with charging of this speed). As you might guess from its name, it has a 12.3-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, and IMAX Enhanced certification. Plus, there are 8 (!) speakers on this.
