While we don’t expect a new version of the AirPods Pro yet, we’d like to see a revamp of the AirPods Max, and rumors from Bloomberg and 9to5Mac give us hope that we’ll see a new pair. We loved the sound and ANC performance of the original AirPods Max, but its weight, fit, charging, and case would benefit from improvements. We’re hoping for a more lightweight design, USB-C charging, an internal amp/DAC with high-resolution capabilities, reduced clamping force, a power-off button, and an upgraded case.
