Klarna becomes official Apple reseller with payment options and upgrade plans

Klarna, which offers monthly payment plans as a service, is now an official Apple reseller. Customers can purchase iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch, iPad, Mac and more directly from Klarna’s app or website with monthly payment options.

The new digital storefront is being called “Apple from Klarna” and launches today. In addition to convenient financing options and interest-free payments for qualified buyers, Klarna is providing an upgrade program for some of the Apple products it sells.

Upgrade Financing enables Klarna customers to purchase the latest Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac lineups through low-cost monthly payment plans, so customers can get:

• Apple Watch SE starting at $7.99 a month

• Apple Watch Series 10 at $12.99 a month

• iPad Air starting at $17.99 a month

• MacBook Air 13-inch with M3 starting at $19.99 a month

At the end of the loan term, customers can trade in their device and upgrade to the latest model, or they can choose to keep their current device for a final, interest-free payment.

The move shows Apple’s continued push into financing and buy now, pay later services like Klarna and Affirm. The latter service recently replaced the discounted Apple Pay Later service as the Apple Pay BNPL option for iPhone users.

Klarna touts 25 million users across the United States as it becomes an official Apple reseller. Klarna for iPhone is available in the App Store.
