Hades 2’s first major content update is available now

What you need to know

• Supergiant Games’ godly roguelike Hades 2 launched earlier this year in early access on Windows PC. 
• Since then, the game has received a number of updates, with bug fixes and small improvements to the experience. 
• The first major content update, dubbed the Olympic Update, has arrived, bringing new areas to explore, story content, characters, quests, and boss fights. 
• The next major content update is slated to arrive at some point in early 2025. 

The Crossroads are getting bigger.

Developer Supergiant Games unveiled the first major content update for Hades 2 early access on Wednesday. Fittingly titled the Olympic Update, this is well beyond the smaller updates that have previously been rolled out, with a bevy of new content including additional story beats, a new surface location, a new boss fight, and a wild new weapon for Melinoe to wield against the forces of Chronos.
