Today Apple released big new software updates for all its platforms, including iOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1, and more. Now, the company has released full details on all of the security updates added in those releases. Here’s what you should know.

Release notes published for latest security updates

Following the launch of today’s big updates, Apple has published release notes for the various security fixes introduced in today’s software.

Examples include iOS 18.1 fixes for Siri vulnerabilities that allowed attackers to access user-sensitive data, Shortcuts app fixes that improve redaction of sensitive data, updates to Safari Private Browsing that prevent leaked browsing histories, and more.
