OnePlus is sending out a new software update called the V-series OxygenOS, version V10P02. It’s appearing on eligible devices gradually, and all users should have it by December 9. If you have the OnePlus 12 Series, or even an older model, you’re likely to get it.
OnePlus designed the update to boost device performance, and the firmware codes are BRB1EX01 for smartphones and BRB3EX01 for tablets. It should also refresh weather information more often to up-to-date and speeds up the process of saving scrolling screenshots.
OnePlus V10P02 update brings faster Screenshots and others
OnePlus has announced on their community channel that, like previous updates, the V10P02 update for November will roll out gradually. It will first reach a small percentage of users, so not everyone will get a notification right away. If you don’t see one yet, wait patiently. You may also check your settings menu for it. Go to Settings > About device. Then tap the OxygenOS version card to check for updates.
We are pleased to announce the release of the version of V10P02, which is a part of OnePlus regular system upgrades. This update will bring you OnePlus self-developed apps and new features, allowing you to experience them immediately without waiting for the gradual OTA rollout. This update is currently being rolled out in batches. We encourage you to check for and install the latest update on your device.

After downloading the update package, you should see a pop-up asking if you want to install it right away. Once you confirm it, the phone will automatically restart to complete the installation. As features depend on existing device software and model, you might get all the features of the update on newer OnePlus phones, while an older model gets some of them.
It’s funny that OnePlus is updating screenshot speed because, in many cases, screenshots are already taken quickly. Speeding it up any further is unnecessary. If anything, removing bloatware would do more good for performance and battery life.
