Oppo Pad 3 Launches with Vibrant Design and Dimensity 8350 Chip


Five days ago, Oppo globally launched the Pad 3 Pro alongside the Find X8 phone series. Today, the brand has unveiled the base tablet model, Oppo Pad 3, alongside the Reno 13 phone series.

The Pad 3 brings a budget-oriented performance with the Dimensity 8350, and is now available for pre-order on Oppo’s Chinese website: get the tablet for starting price of ¥2,099 (≈$289). The global release won’t happen until November 29.

The Oppo Pad 3 has launched in China with an 11.61-inch 2.8K LCD display and a 144Hz refresh rate. Following these specifications is a peak brightness of 700 nits, a 9,510mAh battery, and 67W SuperVOOC to make sure you hardly have to worry about power issues.

The tablet is also lighter than popular models including the OnePlus Pad 2 with a 6.29mm metal body, and weighs between 533 grams to 536 grams.

The Oppo Pad 3 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, which is made using TSMC’s advanced 4-nanometer technology. The chip is powerful and efficient since smaller chips typically use less energy and produce less heat.

The chip has eight cores, with four powerful Cortex-A715 cores running at up to 3.35GHz for heavy tasks and four Cortex-A510 cores for regular tasks. It supports LPDDR5X, UFS 4.0 storage, and carries the Mali-G615 GPU.

Large RAM and space options 

Oppo is very generous with space on the tablet and has offered a base model to be priced at ¥2,099 (≈$289) with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The next option is priced at ¥2,399 (≈$331), offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The high-tiered storage options include the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version, which is available for ¥2,699 (≈$372). Finally, the top-of-the-line model is priced at ¥3,099 (≈$427), bringing 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Unsurprisingly, the tablet comes without an expansion slot. It’s not a big deal considering the wide space options you already presented and the option to use cloud storages. The tablet comes with the latest ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and packed with AI features.

On the outside, expect an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for basic photography and video calls. the tablet is also undeniably attractive, rocking three different colors: Glow purple, Night blue, and Star track bright silver.

The sound quality is also expected to be impressive as it comes with USB Type-C audio and six Hi-Res certified speakers. As for connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and 5G sharing.

The tablet can work with a stylus and smart keyboard, which you’ll obviously buy separately. The keyboard connects to the tablet with Pogo Pins and has keys that move 1.5mm when pressed. It also includes a special AI key for Oppo’s voice assistant Breeno and Near Field Communication (NFC). You can also adjust it up to a 120° angle.
