Master & Dynamic, a luxury audio brand, has relaunched its ME05 wired earphones. They were first released in 2015, and the new version keeps the original’s high-quality materials but includes several upgrades.
The updated ME05 earphones have improved sound thanks to new high-definition bio-cellulose drivers. They also feature a redesigned microphone and a USB-C adapter to work better with modern devices. The new ME05 features technological improvements like a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter that allows for high-quality audio playback at 32-bit/384 kHz on USB-C devices. It also has a better microphone system with special technology to reduce wind noise, making calls clearer even in loud places.
The earphones are made with high-quality materials. They have a solid brass housing, which looks and sounds good. The design includes comfortable features like laser-etched details, polished accents, and easy-to-use controls. Inside, it uses custom-made 8mm bio-cellulose drivers and carefully crafted brass enclosures to enhance sound quality. You’ll also get different sizes of ear tips to make sure they fit well for many people. The balanced weight helps them feel comfortable when wearing them.
Jonathan Levine, the founder and CEO, said “The design has stood the test of time,” but he likely means just the color scheme and style. Since it is a remake of the 2015 version, it’s got a wired connection that wasn’t very strange at the time. However, today, it’s more unusual for any earphones to be released with a wired connection because many devices now only support wireless. It comes with an adapter for USB-C because so many phones no longer have audio jacks.
You can buy the earphones in Gold/Black, while pre-order options are available in Gunmetal/Black, Palladium/Black, and Palladium/White. They will be sold on the official website and available on Amazon later this winter. The price stays firm at $199.
