As we approach the end of the year, Instagram is rolling out a new year-in-review feature. This year, you’ll be able to create a collage for your Instagram Story showing off your favorite moments of the year.
How to make your Instagram 2024 Collage
As noted by The Verge, the new “2024 Collage” feature will be accessible via the “Add to story” interface in the Instagram app. You’ll see a new option to create the collage when you create a story, making it super easy to collect your favorite photos from the year into a single story.
In addition to the “2024 Collage” year-in-review celebration, Instagram is rolling out other limited-time features as well:
Instagram is rolling out some other temporary features as well, including end-of-year-themed “Add Yours” templates, allowing your friends to reply to your story with one of their own. There are also new “New Year” and “Countdown” text effects, holiday chat themes for DMs, as well as secret phrases, such as “happy New Year,” in notes and DMs that trigger special effects.
The features are rolling out now and will be available until the first week of January. If you don’t see them on your Instagram account yet, check back over the rest of the week.
