Honor has officially launched the Magic 7 phone series, featuring the Magic 7 Pro and Magic 7 Lite, in Europe. Starting today, you can pre-order them in the United Kingdom and score a free tablet or earbuds. The Magic 7 Pro comes in at £1,099.99 (≈$1,345) but Honor is running a promotion where you can grab this flagship smartphone for just £799.
Honor latest flagship phone promises impressive specifications from next-level cameras and incredibly fast charging to Google’s Gemini-powered AI features pre-installed. Here’s a closer look at what the Magic 7 Pro offers.
Honor Magic 7 Pro is a pricey beast
Honor is sparing no hand size with the Magic 7 Pro’s large design. It towers at 6.8-inch OLED, and weighs a hefty 223g. It also sports three colors: Lunar Shadow Grey, Black, and the exclusive Breeze Blue.
The Natural Light Honor AI Eye Comfort display, together with 4320Hz of pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming, makes adjustments to brightness and color. They’re made to mimic natural light, and reduce flickering that may cause eye strain.
Other screen specs include 2800 x 1280 pixels, a peak brightness of 1600, and 120Hz refresh rate. The display also uses Honor’s own strong NanoCrystal Shield glass technology, whose durability the brand wasn’t shy to test at their launch event. Guests got to stab it directly and drop it. The glass barely registered these activities.
The phone has the king of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip lineup, the 8 Elite version, powering it underneath. With its Oryon CPU, Adreno 830 GPU, and the MagicOS 9.0 (based on Android 15), the phone is geared towards the best performance possible and executes multimodal assistant tasks effortlessly. We’ll see Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and the bulk of Google’s other features on the phone.
On the back side is the AI Falcon three-camera system that carries the 50MP main, 50MP wide, and the impressive 200MP telephoto cameras. Expect zoom levels of up to 30x to 100x, and smart features like Motion sensing capture to aid your photography skills. The front camera is an enviable 50MP lens.
Sporting a 5,270mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charge support, Honor claims a fully charged device in roughly 30 minutes. Storage is also not a major concern with 12GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB configurations available. Meanwhile, waterproofing is certified with the IP68 rating.
