The TCL 60 series is now official with six new smartphones adding to the 60 XE model introduced in January 2025. All of them feature the iconic NXTPAPER technology. Eye care has always been a key focus for the brand, with the major goal being to reduce strain. The paper-like displays are easier on the eyes, especially if you’re glued to your phone for long hours.
If you’re also after something close to a Kindle effect, NXTPAPER mode provides a matte, e-ink-style look without sacrificing color or responsiveness. It’s an innovation we’ve seen across their devices over the years. The new series will not only feature it, but also deliver 5G, high-refresh-rate displays, and strong battery life.Â
TCL 60 NXTPAPER 5G phones are here
The TCL 60 SE NXTPAPER 5G and TCL 60 NXTPAPER are the highlights of the new series because they are ideal for e-reading and extended screen use. They largely set them apart from standard LCD smartphones. But beyond their unique display, both models are AI-driven and carry productivity tools that serve you in translation, writing assistance, summarization, and meeting management.Â
TCL has also equipped them with high-resolution cameras, such as the TCL 60 NXTPAPER’s 108MP Ultra Pixel sensor. On the front is a 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,200mAh battery sits underneath. Space is not an issue with the 512GB storage. The 60 SE model offers 256GB of internal storage instead. On both models, you’re guaranteed 18GB of RAM with the combination of physical and virtual expansion.Â
Compared to the other models in the series, these two are positioned as flagship devices. All phones in the series are now available globally across Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The other phones in the 60 series include the TCL 60 XE 5G, TCL 60R 5G, TCL 60 5G, TCL 60 SE, and TCL 605. Each one targets a specific audience, although the 60 XE variant already came out in January before the rest. The TCL 60R 5G and TCL 60 5G focus on smooth visuals and immersive audio, featuring 6.7-inch displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and dual speakers.
They also come with 5G octa-core processors. Meanwhile, the TCL 60 SE and TCL 605 phones are aimed at photographers with 50MP hybrid cameras and running on the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset. They also include large HD+ displays and 5200mAh batteries with 18W fast charging.
