Epic Games has announced that it plans to bring Fortnite back to the iPhone and iPad in another region following a recent antitrust ruling against Apple.
Starting in July, Fortnite will return to the App Store in Brazil, Epic Games announced on Monday.
The decision to bring the massive multiplayer hit title back to the iPhone and iPad follows a decision last fall that declared Apple’s anti-steering policy illegal in the country.
The decision made it illegal or Apple to prevent developers from linking to their own websites to sell content like books and games. Apple is also being required to lift payment method restrictions for the Brazilian App Store.
Apple’s largest defeat yet is still in the European Union, where Apple is required to support third-party marketplaces that compete with the App Store on iPhone and iPad.
Fortnite is also returning to the iPhone and iPad in the UK and Japan. Epic Games has not been allowed in the App Store in other regions since the company stopped abiding by App Store policy in a move to challenge the legality of those rules.
