Razer has revealed its own take on an adjustable laptop stand, ideal for turning any laptop into a desktop productivity station. Before you ask, there are no RGB lights.
The Razer Adjustable Laptop Stand is made from tough anodized aluminum. It has a sleek look and a sturdy build, so it’s built to last, which you can say about many stands. This stand isn’t out yet, so we don’t know the price, but it looks so basic that it should not cost much. However, Razer already has its Razer Laptop Stand for $49.99 on Amazon, which doesn’t look very impressive either. So, it’s hard to say that it won’t cost a lot when the price is revealed.
The stand has moving parts you can tweak with the included hex key, giving you the option to change the height and tilt exactly how you like. This double-adjustment system lets you set up the angle for your screen and the best posture for your body, no matter how you sit or work. You can also tighten the hinges with the hex key to make sure the stand stays in place at your chosen height and angle.
The stand can go as low as 1.88 inches or as high as 13.8 inches, so it fits all kinds of desks and preferences. That’s a lot better than most laptop stands, especially those you buy on Amazon, as they’re set to a height already. The stand is also designed to be easy to carry around. When you’re not using it, it folds down to less than 2 inches thick, so it doesn’t take up much space in a bag or on a shelf.
Besides being adjustable and portable, the stand has smart features that make it even better to use. It has special vents cut into the aluminum to let air flow under your laptop, which helps keep it from overheating, so you may want a good fan to use with it. The top of the stand has rubber pads that grip your laptop, so it won’t slide around, even when you’re adjusting the stand.
The Razer Adjustable Laptop Stand works with almost any laptop or device up to 18 inches wide and weighing up to 6.80 lbs. It can basically support most laptops made today, as they’re generally really slim and light.
A product Razer advised with it was the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad, which uses fans to keep your laptop cool. Another recommended product is the Razer USB4 Dock, a 14-port hub for fast data transfers and dual monitors. While each of these accessories does something different, they all work together to make your setup more comfortable and efficient.
A big focus of the stand’s design is ergonomics. Raising your laptop to eye level helps reduce neck and back strain, which is common when you use a computer for long hours. This is especially helpful for gamers or office workers who spend a lot of time at their desks. Since you can adjust the height and tilt just how you like, you can find the most comfortable position for your body.
The Razer Adjustable Laptop Stand comes in two colors: black and mercury (a light silver shade). It has a two-year warranty, but if you buy it directly from Razer’s store, you also get a 14-day return policy in case you change your mind. The stand itself is 19.7 inches (500 mm) long and 8.27 inches (210 mm) wide.
You can buy the Razer Adjustable Laptop Stand on Razer’s website or at Razer stores around the world. As far as I can see, it’s not yet available, but you can sign up to be notified when it is officially released for sale.
