Acer has added two new gaming monitors to its lineup: The Predator XB323QK V4 and the Nitro XV240 F6. The Predator XB323QK V4 is for those who want high-resolution and impressive visuals, while the Nitro XV240 F6 is built for fast, responsive gameplay.
The Predator XB323QK V4 has a big 31.5-inch IPS screen with a sharp 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160), which should make games look clear and detailed. Its 160Hz refresh rate keeps gameplay smooth, and it also has a dynamic refresh rate (DRR) of 120Hz, plus an option for FHD resolution at 320Hz for different gaming situations.
With a fast response time of just 0.5 milliseconds (G to G, min.), motion blur is reduced, which is important for competitive gaming. AMD FreeSync Premium technology helps prevent screen tearing and stuttering, keeping gameplay fluid.
Color quality is a big focus for the XB323QK V4. The IPS panel gives wide viewing angles and accurate colors, while HDR10 support and a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut make visuals look vibrant and lifelike. The monitor also has a high contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1 (ACM) for deeper blacks and brighter highlights.
The monitor’s ErgoStand lets you adjust it in multiple ways, including tilt, swivel, pivot, and height, so you can set it up for maximum comfort. Built-in 2-watt speakers add convenience, and the Acer Display Widget software makes it easy to adjust settings. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports for connections, one DisplayPort 1.4, and standard audio in/out. The monitor can also be mounted on a VESA-compatible wall bracket.
On the other hand, the Acer Nitro XV240 F6 is all about speed for competitive gaming, like Esports. This 24.1-inch monitor has a TN panel and a fast 600Hz refresh rate, making gameplay extremely smooth. With a response time of just 0.1 milliseconds (G to G, min.), it gives players an edge in fast-paced esports games.
DRR boosts the 600Hz refresh rate for even clearer motion. Like the Predator model, it includes AMD FreeSync Premium to prevent screen tearing and stuttering. While its resolution is 1920×1080 (Full HD), the Nitro XV240 F6 makes up for it with speed and features like a 90% DCI-P3 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for better contrast and colors. It also has a Delta E rating of less than 2, which basically means colors are very accurate.
