AirPods Max, M4/Pro MacBook Pro, AirTags, more 9to5Mac

Alongside a host of exciting (and weird) new tech from CES 2025, we have a fresh batch of deals to scope out today. The Burton Goods Winter Clearance sale with up to 50% off its wonderful leather Apple accessories is now live but we are also tracking M4 MacBook Pro configurations at up to $220 off this week as well as the return of Black Friday pricing on the 4-pack of Apple’s AirTags (that’s $17.50 a pop). Those deals join the return of all-time low pricing on Samsung’s latest gray 2TB T9 flagship portable SSD, iPhone cases, and a host of charging gear, all waiting down below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break

Best Apple Labor Day deals

AirPods Max (Lightning) are otherwise essentially identical to the new USB-C set, grab a pair at up to $217 off today

Best Buy is now offering a notable chance to score a pair of AirPods Max with some serious savings. If you’re not bothered by having to use a Lightning cable to charge – it’s really the only difference between this set and the new colors, you can score an open-box unit of the Space Gray AirPods Max down at $331.99 shipped with a full 1-year warranty over at Best Buy right now.

Regularly $549 before they were replaced by the new colorways with USB-C ports, this is $217 in savings and one of the lowest prices we have tracked on a set without taking the refurbished route where you’re much less likely to score a 1-year warranty.

Apple M4/Pro MacBook Pros up to $220 off: 14-inch 16GB/1TB $1,629, more from $1,459

Amazon is now offering the 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro with the elevated 16GB of RAM and 1TB internal storage setup down at $1,629 shipped. Regularly $1,799, this is $170 off the going rate and the lowest price we can find. This is $70 under the price you’ll find at Best Buy right now and within $30 of the lowest we have tracked on this particular configuration – that was a short-lived Black Friday offer as well.

While this is a somewhat niche, or particular configuration – the base model 14-inch M4 machine with double the internal storage upgrade, if you are looking for the 1TB internal SSD this is the most affordable option out there. We did see the M4 Pro variant with 24GB of RAM, the faster chip, and 512GB of storage for $1,699 over Black Friday, but it might be more than a while before that deal returns and you are scoring double the storage here.

Either way, you’re looking at some notable savings here on various configurations of Apple’s latest and greatest – we will leave you with the best of them below:

Amazon is giving folks another shot at Black Friday pricing on the 4-pack of Apple’s AirTags today. Regularly $99, you can score the 4-pack down at $69.99 shipped to land on par with last year’s holiday pricing. That’s roughly $17.49 per AirTag and among the lowest prices we have ever tracked. The single AirTag listing is still down at $22.99 from the usual $29, or within $4 of the short-lived Black Friday price at $19.

While AirTag landed Apple in a little bit of hot water over the lack of warning labels highlighting the risk of injury from battery ingestion recently, the AirTag remains the best option on the market if you ask me. The models are on sale here today aren’t the the sweet new limited edition Year of the Snake variants, nor are they the AirTag 2 expected to launch sometime this year with better Precision Finding range, but we are talking about Apple trackers at $17.50 a pop here.

Today’s best accessory and charging deals:

All-time low pricing returns on Twelve South’s PlugBug USB-C Wall Charger with Find My from $56

Amazon is bringing back all-time low pricing on one of 2024’s best tech accessories today, the Twelve South PlugBug USB-C Wall Charger with Find My. You’ll find the 2-port 50W model down at $55.99 and the 4-port 120W model on sale for $97.99 shipped via Amazon right now – the 2-port is matching the all-time low and the 120W is within a couple bucks.

Add a refurb Apple Watch Ultra down at $419 to your 2025 health/fitness kit (Orig. $799)

If you’re looking to add the Apple Watch Ultra to your 2025 fitness regimen without spending anywhere near the Black Friday deal prices on a series 2, never mind the full $799, Best Buy Geek Squad refurbished units are a solid option. Seeing an Apple Watch Ultra 2 even close to $700 in new condition these days (Black Friday and Prime Day fall included) is a notable deal, but landing an original one from $419.99 shipped via Woot’s Amazon storefront is a fantastic way to save a ton.

This is $380 under the regular new price you’ll pay at Apple for a series 2 and $199 under the original price on the OG model – they start at $735 on Amazon right now. You’ll find a couple different configurations available at the $499.99 price point right now via Best Buy: Natural Titanium with the Midnight Ocean Band and Natural Titanium with the Green Alpine Loop, but the one config at Amazon is much lower than that.
