Amazon’s Luna game streaming service plows ahead with a new family-oriented game channel that is focused on E and E10+ rated games such as SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. This means you won’t have to worry about little Sammy getting stuck in games like Metro Exodus while you have your back turned.
The new Family Channel costs a reasonable $2.99 per month and includes local co-op on selected games, the ability to play on two devices simultaneously, and can be played on devices such as the following:
- Windows PC
- Mac
- Fire TV
- Fire Tablets
- Chromebooks
- iPhones
- iPads
- Selected Android phones and tablets
You’ll find other kid-friendly games such as Garfield Kart – Furious Racing, Monster Truck Championship, Space Otter Charlie, with games such as SkateBIRD being added later this month.
Other news includes the addition of a new feature called Luna Couch that lets multiple players join a local multi-player game such as Team Sonic Racing without needing to be in the same room. Subscribers can send codes to friends to join their sessions through the Luna app or the official Luna website.
