Anker Soundcore AeroFit

Anker’s Soundcore AeroFit earbuds have an open-ear design, but still manage to be great for listening to music while working out—they have IPX7 protection and stems to keep them in place while you’re moving.

For a lot of people, earbuds with silicone/foam eartips are just not usable, either because of the shape of your ears or because of a personal preference—you never really forget they’re there, even if you don’t get annoyed from wearing yours. Open-ear earbuds are much more unintrusive, and right now, Anker’s excellent Soundcore AeroFit earbuds are at their lowest price ever.

Anker’s first-gen Soundcore Aerofit earbuds launched with an MSRP of $129.99. It’s frequently discounted these days as Anker also released a successor (which we reviewed), and you can typically find them anywhere between $100 to $70. Right now, though, they’re just $49 in the Calm White, Cozy Blue, and Soft Pink colorways—more than half off their original price, and by far the lowest price we’ve seen for these so far.

These earbuds are among the best open-ear earbuds your money can buy, despite them technically being a previous-gen model. We don’t have ANC or anything of the like, but we do have IPX7 certification for the occasional splash, as well as 11 hours of battery life on a single charge—and a total of 42 hours when you count in the battery life in your charging case. Despite their open-ear design, they are engineered to minimize sound leakage, and there are four AI-enhanced mics for crystal-clear calls even in non-ideal scenarios. It does have its faults, but at this price, I’m sure a lot of people can actually excuse those faults.

Anker Soundcore AeroFit 2: An Open-Ear Sequel with Diminishing Returns

The Anker Soundcore AeroFit 2 are a step in the right direction for open-ear tech, at least when it comes to wearability. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for audio, and when it comes to earbuds, my line of thinking is sound matters most.

The previous lowest price we’ve seen for these before was $64, so as I said before, this is a new all-time low, and an amazing price for these earbuds. Make sure to grab yours now while this deal lasts—it’s a Prime-exclusive price, so you’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription in order to grab this.
